Benoit Mallory first began working in the Art department for directors such as Woody Allen, Sofia Coppola, Michael Bay, David Fincher and Clint Eastwood on features such as Marie Antoinette, Les Misérables or Midnight in Paris. He was awarded at the « Best Art Direction Guild Award 2019 » for his last set design on American series. And nominated 2 times at Emmy Awards for his Art direction works.
Benoit soon specialized in advertising as a film Director. He directed 12 TV commercial, some music videos and 200 videos for brand content for Dior, Perrier Jouet, Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne and for Christian Louboutin for whom he directed: Dita Von Teese, Mika and Léa Seydoux.
He directed 3 Louis Vuitton fashion shows designed by Virgil Abloh and several ones for Balmain, Dior, Yezzy, Courrèges and Alexandre Vauthier.
He started directing after having been nominated best director of his class at the Institut International de l’Image et du Son. His first short film -Hard Lines (Le fil des coups)- was screened in 30 festivals in over 20 countries and was awarded 5 times with 3 Jury Prizes.
Benoit maintains a privileged relationship with the biggest Maisons and the artists in the image and the production of their creations. He cultivates artistic demand inventiveness and innovation in the service of the transmission of know-how and creation.
